As the launch day draws closer for the iQOO Neo 5, the company has confirmed another specification of the phone. Over the past few weeks, iQOO has been revealing several details of the upcoming iQOO Neo 5. In the latest reveal, we learn all about the display that will be used on the smartphone. We already know a few iQOO Neo 5 specifications such as the Snapdragon 870 chipset, triple cameras, and 66W fast charging support. Live pictures of the phone were also leaked last week, which confirmed its design language. Now, let’s take a look at what the phone has to offer in terms of display performance.

iQOO posted a picture on Weibo, which confirms the iQOO Neo 5’s display specifications. The phone will come with a punch-hole cutout at the top centre. The iQOO Neo 5 uses a Samsung AMOLED E3 panel, which offers FHD+ resolution, HDR10+ support, and a super-fast refresh rate of 120Hz. Apart from these specifications, the display also gets a 1000Hz touch sampling rate, 1300 nits brightness, and 6000000:1 contrast ratio.

The company also states that the display chip on the iQOO Neo 5 will be able to upscale SDR images to HDR and offer improved quality. The phone will most likely have an in-display fingerprint scanner with a separate chip, which will improve its performance. We still do not have any details regarding the screen size, but reports suggest that the phone will get a 6.61-inch display.

Rumoured iQOO Neo 5 specifications include the Snapdragon 870 chipset, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, and a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging. The rear camera setup will consist of a 48-megapixel Sony sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide unit, and a 2-megapixel unit for depth/macro.
