Realme Watch 2 Pro specifications appear on FCC: square dial, 390mAh battery, and more
Realme Watch 2 series launch seems to be close as newer details about the smartwatches are surfacing online frequently. The brand launched its first smartwatch in May 2020, followed by Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro in December. Now, it looks like the company is close to bringing a successor as the Realme Watch 2 Pro has been spotted on the FCC certification site with the model number RMA2006, spotted by MySmartPrice. This comes just a few days after the vanilla Realme Watch 2 had bagged the same certification. While the listing confirms the marketing name, it doesn’t reveal the complete specifications of the smartwatch.
Realme Watch 2 Pro features and specifications
The Realme Watch 2 Pro FCC documents include a label diagram that shows off a square dial, instead of circular. Realme Watch 2 Pro is said to pack a 390mAh battery, that bears a model number XE205, and has 2.5W charging support. That’s pretty everything we could gather about the Realme Watch 2 Pro from the FCC certification.
As for the Realme Watch 2, an earlier FCC certification showed it will be similar to the original Realme Watch. The smartwatch is said to sport a 1.4-inch TFT display with 320×320 pixels resolution, have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and heart rate monitor. The smartwatch can track sleep, workouts, and there is a meditation mode as well. Interestingly, Realme seems to have added a blood oxygen monitoring feature, which is slowly finding its way to most smartwatches. There is Bluetooth LE connectivity that should the watch link to a smartphone via the Realme Link app. It is said to measure 257.6×35.7×12.2mm and pack a slightly smaller 305mAh battery unit.
Realme Watch 2 live image suggests it will have a familiar design and plastic-looking straps. Considering the design and build, we can speculate it will be an affordable option that could be priced similar to its predecessor, around Rs 4,000. The smartwatch could come with a wired charging base. Since both the Realme Watch 2 and 2 Pro have received the FCC certification, we can speculate the launch could be around the corner but a timeline can’t be fixed for certain at the moment.
