iQOO 9 launch timeline, battery capacity, and fast charging support tipped
iQOO 7 was launched in China in January with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, 120W fast charging, and more. Now, it looks like the brand has started working on the successor, which may be called the iQOO 9. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the iQOO 9 launch timeline, battery capacity, and fast charging details. iQOO phones such as the iQOO 5 Pro and iQOO 7 come with a 4,000mAh battery, which is significantly less when compared to other flagships in the segment. But the company bundles these phones with super-fast charging support to compensate for the battery. However, things might be different with iQOO 9 specifications, as per the tipster.

In the second half of the year, the iQOO9 series will definitely abandon the 4000mAh, fast and capable 100-watt battery…😎 https://t.co/omv7IZ5Jat
According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming iQOO 9 will have a dual-cell battery technology with two batteries each capacity of 2,155mAh and a combined capacity of 4310mAh (which should be marketed as 4400mAh). That’s 400mAh bigger than its predecessors. Furthermore, the tipster claims the iQOO 9 launch will take place in the second half of 2021 and the phone may support over 100W fast charging. since the iQOO 7 supports 120W fast charging, it is speculated that the iQOO 9 will use the same solution. Unfortunately, not much else is known about iQOO 9 specifications at the moment.
