Vivo Y12s launched in India with 5,000mAh battery and sub-Rs 10,000 price tag
After the Vivo Y51A, Vivo launched a new budget phone in India on Tuesday. The Vivo Y12s comes with an updated chipset compared to the Vivo Y12 but is not as feature-rich as the model that launched in India last year. The latest device is now available for purchase in the country and comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio processor. Vivo Y12s specifications include the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, 5,000mAh battery, and 13MP dual cameras. It is part of the Y-series portfolio from Vivo, which is designed for the youth.

Vivo Y12s specifications
As mentioned earlier, the Vivo Y12s is a watered-down variant of the Y12 from 2019. This smartphone comes with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which admittedly, is better than what you get with the Vivo Y12. The new device also has a slightly larger 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. Those are the only areas where the phone has improved over the older Y12.
Looking at the other Vivo Y12s specifications, we get a massive 5,000mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. At the back, the phone features a dual-camera setup that consists of a main 13-megapixel sensor paired with a 2-megapixel depth unit. The phone runs Android 10 based custom FunTouch OS 11.
