Redmi Note 9T price, specifications, and design leaked ahead of January 8th launch
The Redmi Note 9T specifications and prices have leaked online via an Amazon Germany listing, giving us a glimpse at what to expect later this week. The new leaks show that the upcoming smartphone will be little more than a rebranded the China-only Redmi Note 9 5G with a fresh coat of paint. A separate leak gives away the design of the smartphone. This comes just a day after the Redmi Note 9T launch date for the European market was announced officially as January 8th. Of course, we’ve known about the smartphone for quite some time, as it has made several appearances on different certification websites.
Redmi Note 9T price
According to an Amazon.de listing, the Redmi Note 9T price will be €229.90 (~Rs 20,500) for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Shelling out €269.90 (~Rs 24,100) will get you 128GB of storage and the same amount of RAM. We can expect the Redmi Note 9T price in India to be a bit lower based on our experiences with previous releases whenever the smartphones launches here.
Redmi Note 9T specifications
Given that several Redmi Note 9 variants have been out in the wild for quite some time, it stands to reason that Xiaomi will not muddy the waters by launching an entirely different SKU with the same name. As seen in the Amazon listing below, some key Redmi Note 9T specifications include the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and refresh rate of 90Hz, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 18W. NFC functionality appears to be switched on too, something that is a bit of a rarity in affordable smartphones.
Redmi Note 9T camera specs include a 48MP primary sensor assisted by an 8MP ultra-side-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 13MP camera nestled at the screen’s top-left corner. The Redmi Note 9T will run Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box.

As for the design, a tweet by tipster Abhishek Yadav has given us a look at what the Redmi Note 9T will look like. The design is pretty much the same as that of Redmi Note 9 5G, with three sensors and LED flash arranged in a square arrangement inside a circular module, a punch-hole display, and a USB Type-C port. One of the images also shows the Redmi Note 9T specifications too, reiterating what the Amazon.de listing and previous leaks have shown.
As we mentioned, the Redmi Note 9T launch is scheduled for January 8th in the EU. A global release is expected to follow suit soon, although there is no telling when the phone will be launched in India.
