CES 2021: Amazfit GTS 2e, GTR 2e launched, coming to India this month
Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e have been launched at CES 2021. The smartwatches were originally announced in China in December and are now available in more markets. The GTS 2e and GTR 2e come with an AMOLED display, support for numerous watch faces and the dial can be rotated 180-degrees to cater to both left and right-handed users. Both watches support up to 90 sports modes, with auto-detection for six of them, Blood-oxygen level measurement, sleep quality measuring, and BioTracker 2 PPG high-precision optical sensor that offers 24-hour heart rate monitoring to keep tabs on heart health. Huami has also announced GTR 2 LTE version and the same will be available later this year.

Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e price
The Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e are priced at $139.99 (around Rs 10,300). While the former will be available in Lilac Purple, Moss Green, and Obsidian Black colour options. The latter can be purchased in Obsidian Black, Matcha Green, and Slate Grey colourways. Both the watches are now available to purchase in the US via Amazon.
The Watches will be available in the UK at £119 (approx 11,900) from the Argo store. The Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e watches will launch in India later next week.
Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e specifications
The Amazfit GTS 2e sports a 1.65-inch AMOLED screen with a 341 ppi pixel density. While the GTR 2e has a slightly smaller 1.39-inch AMOLED display. Both have 2.5D scratch-resistance glass and support for numerous watch faces. Interestingly, users can lock the screen with a password to prevent someone from accessing the watch. The smartwatches are 5 ATM water-resistant and they come with Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI), that uses algorithms to convert complex data such as activity duration, heart rate, and other health data into a single score for easy understanding. It will also offer insights into their physical condition.
The Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e can be used to measure blood-oxygen saturation, sleep quality, and stress levels—from relaxed, normal, medium, or high. They have GPS, offline assistant, and can push notification alerts from connected smartphones. The intelligent sport recognition function automatically activates relevant sport mode once users start moving their body. Both the smartwatches connect to Zepp app and should be compatible with Android and iOS. While the GTR 2e is claimed to offer up to 24 days of battery life on a single charge, the GTS 2e lasts up to 14 days.
