Amazon on Wednesday announced the launch of Prime Video Mobile Edition, which is a mobile-only plan that comes at an extremely affordable price point. The new Amazon Prime Video plan is aimed at attracting new users who are looking for more affordable ways to stream content on the platform. As the name suggests, this Prime Video plan is a single-user mobile-only plan, which provides SD quality streaming to customers. Prime Video has collaborated with Airtel to roll out this plan across India and Airtel prepaid customers can enjoy a 30-day free trial of the Prime Video Mobile Edition plan.

Amazon Prime Video mobile-only plan for Airtel prepaid customers

The new Prime Video Mobile Edition plan is only available for Airtel customers in India as of now and the free trial can be claimed through the Airtel Thanks app. Following the 30-day free trial, Airtel prepaid users can continue using the Prime Video Mobile Edition through a couple of prepaid recharges. Amazon and Airtel have announced an introductory Rs 89 recharge pack that offers 28 days of Prime Video mobile-only subscription along with 6GB of data. The Rs 299 is the next plan that offers Prime Video Mobile Edition for 28 days and 1.5GB data per day and unlimited calls. 

Meanwhile, Airtel customers who purchase the Rs 131 or Rs 349 recharge plans can enjoy the full Amazon Prime subscription and its benefits, including Prime Video in HD/UHD, ad-free music subscription to Prime Music, and fast delivery on Amazon.in. The Rs 349 plan also offers unlimited calling and 2GB data per day benefits for 28 days.
