Highlights
  • Qualcomm shares Geekbench, AnTuTu, and other benchmarking results of Snapdragon 888 SoC
  • The results shared are from a reference device
  • First commercial Snapdragon 888-powered phone is the Xiaomi Mi 11

Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC benchmarking scores have been revealed to offer a first-look at the kind of performance the flagship mobile chipset will deliver. The Snapdragon 888 Geekbench, AnTuTu, GFX Bench, scores have been shared by Qualcomm. The chipset that will power Android flagships in 2021 seems to be just as powerful as Apple’s flagship A14 Bionic that powers the iPhone 12 series. That said, the results are based on a reference device and could vary on commercial Snapdragon 888-powered phones. The Snapdragon 888 SoC was launched earlier this month with improvements across the board, including connectivity, performance, cameras, and efficiency.

Several phone makers have announced support for the new top-end chipset from Qualcomm, and the first commercial Snapdragon 888-powered phone is expected to launch later this month as the Mi 11.
